“She is the most confident woman in the room because she supports those around her rather than tearing them down. She empowers belief in self!
She doesn’t need to compromise her authenticity by trying to live up to the standards of beauty magazines and curated social lives — she knows who she is and that’s enough.
She never boasts or brags, over promises or over sells. There is just an inherent optimism in how she sees the world.
She is driven and is fulfilled by the joy of riding with her friends or just appreciating the simple pleasure of breathing in and out. She lives her life on her own terms, pursues her passions and appreciates the moments on her bike. She is free-spirited, willing to take risks and is quick to laugh.
She simply loves to ride. She is Liv.”
And that is why I am so ridiculously excited and proud to be a Liv supported rider – a brand that absolutely shares my message and ethos, helping women discover new possibilities through cycling!
I was never a sporty girl at school – I was the complete opposite, the girl that skived PE, hated getting sweaty and got embarrassed if anyone saw me attempting to jump around. I would never, ever have entertained the idea that one-day triathlon would be such a huge part of my life, and I would spend my time trying to encourage and inspire other women to get on a bike.
If my message isn’t clear – this is it. I want this blog and my social media to offer advice, motivation, encouragement, excitement and knowledge about sport and how much it can literally change your life!
If I can become a Liv girl, then so can you. So let’s pursue our passions and appreciate the moments on our bikes. Let’s be free-spirited, willing to take risks and always laugh along the way. Let’s be Liv.
