I had the best weekend spending my time eating, chatting, learning and eating some more at the Bloggers Brunch Master class by We Are Health Bloggers at Planet Organic a few weekends back.
Tables were set up waiting for us looking dreamy, dressed in flowers and a choice of savoury and sweet juices, striped straws and fab bowls just asking to be photographed. Even more perfect was the large table featuring the brunch; two types of raw granola (sweet greens and raw cocoa vanilla), organic sprouted overnight chia oats with goji berries and cocoa nibs (also organic, duh!), sweet potato wedges, a marinated kale and almond salad, sat beside another delicious looking quinoa salad, a brunch of dreams!
After the brunch, (I ate every single dish on offer and went for seconds of the sweet greens rawnola – not even sorry), we moved around different learning stations for some tips and discussions. The incredible Nourishing Jessica gave some tips on insta-styling, we got to make our own desserts, think about the WHY behind our own blogs/instagram’s, and discuss our own diet preferences.
It was quite funny to be in an environment where everyone was on the same page, I didn’t look odd when I photographed my food before I ate it, and everything to eat was vegan, gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, and soya free! – Can the rest of the world please get on board already!?
I spent the rest of the day in a food coma from all the brunch, goodie bag treats, and food haul I got from Planet Organic when the brunch had finished. I think the only thing that could have made it better for me would have been to involve some training!
