Peanut Satay sauce

I absolutely love this sauce, It is so good for stir-fry’s, as a dipping sauce or a marinade! In this instance, I made it as a dipping sauce and dressing for some vegetable lettuce boats – a great idea for a light lunch, snack or starter.

To make the sauce:

1 thumb size of grated ginger
2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
2 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp sesame seeds
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1/4 cup of water

Mix the ingredients well until they’re all combined into a sauce.
