Raw Hemp cookies

July 7, 2016

Hemp is an amazing source of natural protein for anyone who is following a vegan lifestyle, or wants to cut down on dairy or meat products. Since I made the conscious decision to follow a heavily plant-based lifestyle I can definitely feel the benefits, I need to make sure that I still get enough protein in to recover from all the training and so ingredients like hemp are becoming an important staple in my weekly diet.

These raw hemp cookies have over 8g protein per small cookie! They’re super sweet and so easy to make with no cooking time!

To make 10 small cookies:

  • 2.5 cups oats
  • 2.5 cups coconut flour
  • 10 dates
  • 4 tbsp date or maple syrup
  • 3tbsp hemp powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp coconut milk

Blend all of the ingredients in a good food processor, shape into cookie shapes and store in the fridge!
