It doesn’t take much looking around the recipe section of my blog to see I’m not really one for creating dinner recipes – although I am really good at eating them!
I always struggle to get creative with dinner – admittedly I am happy to eat fish, vegetables and rice most evenings, despite it being bland!
Being a huge foodie, I’ve decided it’s time to up my tea game (I’m from Yorkshire, to you that’s probably dinner) so I thought id give The Flavour Generator by HelloFresh a go – that way it’s still following a recipes that tickle my taste buds an that given day!
HelloFresh is known for being a recipe box to fit your lifestyle – the concept of sending you fresh ingredients and recipes from a menu selection of your choice. The company have now created the Flavour Generator that anyone can use, even if you are not a subscribing HelloFresh customer (though now I think I may become one after trying a few of these recipes!)
So on day 1, week 1 of being committed to being more creative with dinnertime meals, I took to the Flavour Generator by HelloFresh – selecting ‘Mexican‘ as a food I like, and ‘spicy’ as what I was fancying. Off it spins and a few options appeared (you can also re-spin and re-select cuisine and options), but the spicy chicken sounded like a serious winner for me!
I am known for not really being one to follow recipes very well (I get carried away throwing in extra ingredients and also struggle to not get distracted if it seems like too much effort) but I am pleased to say this one was super easy (minimal faff), quick to put together, and most importantly – seriously delicious!
You can find the recipe for this here.
